Music is the voice of humanity. It's the way that we can communicate throughout the world. I want to encourage young audiences and listeners to explore the diverse world that is classical music with pieces that are accessible, but at the same time, a voice of contemporary music that will help more people explore this art form.

about

Ethan Hsu is a composer of contemporary classical music and cellist. He is an NYO-USA apprentice composer, a YoungArts Award Winner with Distinction, winner of the PSO Pennsylvania Call for Scores, and the recipient of the Ruth Crawford Seeger Prize and American Prize. He is a student at Juilliard Pre-College studying with Manuel Sosa, and studies privately with Chris Rogerson.
